-Our Mission-

At Castle Farm Fresh Produce we are dedicated to provide local high-quality produce at affordable prices. We strive to farm in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way, whilst also supporting local producers in the Mourne area. We believe that by encouraging customers to buy local Irish produce we will keep money circulating in the local economy, provide jobs for local people and cut down on food miles. We aim to simply provide our customers with healthy, high quality, tasty food at a competitive price.

We have lots of plans for the future including planting of trees around the farm and a small orchard to improve biodiversity. We are also increasing our sheep flock at present to give our customers a greater choice of wholesome free range Mourne lamb cuts to choose from. We have lots of ideas and hope that you can support us in our family business to achieve our goals! 

-Our Story-

We were established as a web based order and home delivery service in 2008. Since inception, we have steadily built up our customer base and currently have approximately 50,000 people regularly kept up to date with the goings on around the farm and current offers through social media and email bulletins.
Based in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains beside the Historic Norman Dundrum Castle, Castle farm has been farmed by generations of the same family for hundreds of years. Our ancestors having lived in the actual Castle grounds.

At Castle Farm, we endeavour to grow as much local produce as possible in season including potatoes, vegetables and have our own Mourne Aberdeen Angus Beef herd, 250+ ewe commercial sheep flock, Gloucestershire Old Spot rare breed pork and free-range eggs as part of our farm business.

We source produce from the farm but also supplement our range of products by buying from other small local producers and businesses in the area. This includes producers of quality niche products which provides them with a platform with which to distribute and promote their products across Ulster. This gives our customers a wide range of local products to choose from.
